i have just finished the book i liket it it was one for my favorite books i like it because it was about a thing i had neaver throat about before. I am excited that this book is over!!! The Hunger Games is now on and it is the fastest book I have ever read. I have been reading it for abut 2 weeks now and I am enjoying the action. It also helps that I understand the book because I have seen the movie and read it before. The book is way more exciting than the movie my imagination can create more images!!!!

i am at the end of the book now and the last think that nunberry did with  andrew was go hunting
i felt sad that andrew had to go back to england and that nunberry died in his 40s from the plage or starvation we did not no the end of the book was sad but happy because andrew came back to Australia
the story it self was intesting interring and fun i fond it sad and some times even depressing
there were ups and downs new people and bad people i like how the chapters were about the different people lives. This book made me feel differently about Australia at this time in history.  

doctor wight has left to go to england and Rachel is left with a big home and a baby called andrew how when he is old enough will be sent to england nunberry is a sailer now and much older
i think it is good how the story has moved on   and good that nunberry has changed
because it was geting a bit boring and now it has got more interesting threw  the massive changes in his  live i can relate to this because i have had massive changes in my live. I could really relate to his character.  I feel sad that doctor wight has left rachel. Dr White left Rachel this was not good for me, I felt that it was unfair that Dr White could have another wife back in England and Andrew the baby has no dad now. That would be bad. Why was Dr White a good guy but now troubled?

i felt that it was good that nanbeerry was saved by doctor white and
i thought that it was cool that nunberry it being looked after and living with doctor white. I feel that Dr White was really great doing this at this time in history because it was really rasist at this time. Dr White would of been a great man.

I am well into the book now. The book is from two peoples perspectives, one a European man and the other an aborigine boy called Nanberry. 

A European disease has spread throughout all of the aborigines as they have no resistance to it. Now Nanberry has been taken ill as well as all of his family. The European man who is a Doctor is trying to save them and this is when the two characters collide. I felt shocked how the book had turn from a happy story into one where people are dying. I wanted to keep reading to find out who might die next

I choose this book in Scorpio Bookshop in Christchurch just after Christmas. I was there with my brother and my Dad because i had not found a good one in ages. I bought it with my own money. I choose this book because  it had an enticing cover and I read the back and the story sounded interesting.
The cover has a an old painting kind of look with with a photo of a small boy who I thought would be nanberry pictured covered in water with a worried expression on his face. I felt intrigued by this cover and wanted to find out the story about this boy.
The back told me that the story was based in Sydney Cove in 1789 about 2 brothers one black one white . I have been to Sydney 3 times and that was one of the reasons I chose the book.
